Do I need to move out during the process?
In many cases, you won't need to move out. However, it is an invasive process where you will be required to have no traffic on the area being refinished and it may be easiest to plan to be away for the process.
How long will the finish last?
With proper maintenance, floor finish can last 10-15 years. Regular cleaning and avoiding harsh chemicals will help maintain the finish and get you the most out of your investment.
